Douglas Lake Trip - July 2009

Our summer 2009 trip to Douglas Lake was another great time. I've included some of the highlights below...

The kids have their chairs lined up and ready for fireworks. We can usually see different fireworks shows from the surrounding towns.

We choose the top deck on the ride over. It wasn't the warmest ride note the long sleeves post July 4th.

June 2009

Mia's birthday cake with the whole family.

Stacy and I took a trip back to our honeymoon spot (Swept Away Resort) in Negril, Jamaica in June for our 10th anniversary. The resort was as beautiful now as we remembered it. We had great food, gorgeous views (see below), and an overall very relaxing trip. We went SCUBA diving for the first time in quite a while which was a blast as well.

May 2009

Ryan wanted to go to a Marlins game for his birthday this year. We took him and 5 friends to the Marlins vs. Rays in Miami.

Highland Hammock Camping - Nov. 2008

We went to Highland Hammock State Park with the Fillenwarth, Green and Gass families in November.

We found a great picture taking tree on a hike.

Mia's 1st Soccer Game

Mia (#3) played in her first soccer game last weekend. She is playing in a K-1st grade league, so she's the smallest player on the field, but she was loving it.

Our New Boat

Well, we've become boat owners! I think the joke is, "what are the two best days in a boat owners life?" The day we bought ours is gone....and we don't plan on selling it anytime soon. haha We got a really great deal and it all came together very quickly. There is a short video below after our sea trial. I've also included a link to the website. Ours is a 2007, but this link will give you an idea of the layout and what the boat looks like. We can't wait to have you come visit and take a ride.

My toy for Christmas this year was a Flip Video camera (http://www.theflip.com/). I'm testing out my first video on our blog.

Halloween 2008

Ryan and Mia had a great halloween this year. Ryan was Indiana Jones and Mia was Princess Jasmine.
